HELP: Escort 9500ci e9x Install. NEED 12v REMOTE WIRE (near driver side)

Please help me find a place to connect my Remote 12v Wire. (needs to turn on with ignition.) I have searched a lot of threads for going on 2 hours now..I think I have found a decent place for the ground.

Has to be under the driver side footwell.

I just used a fuse tap and routed it around through the side airbag cover and upper windshield. I like it a lot better than from the upper dome lights cause you don't need to splice anything. I forgot what fuse number I used but there's a diy on it

You can use fuse number 8 for switched (on when car is on) power.

I did the same, using a fuse tap in the fuse box behind the glove box for my V1.
