How do I code out comfort access?

I want to turn this off. The car came with it and I did not specify it.

Thanks

Since you ask it here, you probably know how to change FA etc.

Delete option code 322, write to VCM and CODE FEM_BODY and HU_XXX.

It's a security risk. There have been some local thefts because of it. Lot's of information on the forum about these types of attacks and thefts.

Disabling comfort access isn't going to solve the "risk" if you use the lock/unlock button on your key to access the car, which is easier to capture from a discreet distance. The key still radiates a signal for starting the engine, which can be captured by standing within a few feet of you. Situational awareness is a better solution, but to each their own.

Lots of information on how to prevent it as well: store your fob in a metal box. An old tea tin works just fine, a third world solution to a first world problem.

That part has been addressed but won't announce to the world how. A lot of ways to do it though

Not tried the tea tin but the microwave worked. Might line a tea tin with military grade anti-static to play it safe.

You don't need to go to great lengths to block radio frequencies. My house is wrapped in foil faced foam insulation and it renders a cell phone almost useless. If not for the windows I'd get no bars at all inside the house, but I get the full five in the back yard.

All you need is a good insurance on your car..

If the thief wants your car he will take it no mather what.

I'dd rather have him steal my car but leave me and my family in peace.
Insurance will pay for it anyway!

I got the option in my car to and I wouldn't like to miss it anymore.

Did you Test this? I want to buy a used car and (because of Security risks) I don‘t want to have Comfort Access. But to Not buy this car because of Comfort Access - Nope, thats Not an Option! The spec and pricing is Perfect...
