Which color temperature are the stock Xenon low beam bulbs?

I'm talking about 63217217509 btw. 2008 335i E92 if that matters.

Thanks

I might be wrong but I am going to say 4300K.

Anything above 5000K and you start getting a blue tint and lose output. 4300K provides the best visibility in all conditions.

Cool, thank you! I had a feeling it was 4300k. I bought a set of Xenons but they sent the 6000k ones. :/

I don't want all that blue so I may go for a 4300k or a 5000k max.

Thanks

Stock is 4300K (Osram 66144) but I personally prefer the Osram CBIs that come standard on newer cars. They're 5500K and look pure white

Also if you read reviews and look up YouTube reviews, the CBI have a tint, the Philips WhiteVision Gen2 are pure white.

How did you come up with that percentage (99.9 %)?

I know your intentions here but I know several authorized dealers who sell Philips and Osram on Ebay and they are genuine. That being said, if you see them being sold extremely cheap, they are likely fake.

If anyone needs a safe place to buy we've been here for quite a few years now with 100% feedback also.

Hi, I'm confused, is the stock 4300K or 5500K then? As you say the 5500K are also standard...

I have a 2012 E93 LCI and was wondering how to figure out what temperature my original bulbs are without actually extracting one of the bulbs as that is a bit troublesome.

I meant to say that Osram CBI (5500K) came standard on other makes. AFAIK BMW standard bulbs (# 63217217509) are Osram Xenarc originals, which are now 4500K:

It's been a while and there are newer bulbs now:

Thanks! Yeah that is really confusing that the Osram XENARC D1S seems to keep changing specs (the Kelvin...). I was looking at the Osram website just today and it showed a D1S XENARC Original there that looks exactly the same as the one on your osram.com link above, but it was speced at 4300K and this is 4500K...

And there is a XENARC "Classic" which is 4150K it seems.

Thing is I have angeleyes on the E93 LCI headlights, so it's kind of important that the new lowbeam matches them in color. So I guess I'd want to replace them with the type that was in manufacture in 2012... So, if I get the 4300K (and not the 4500K, if you say they are more modern?) I probably get something similar?
