Count me in. There are plenty of canyons/back roads to drive and check them off the bucket list. A meet/drive every three months sounds great! Let's just steer clear from single lanes and those pesky rangers.
Thanks again for putting it out there and looking to organize an M2 group again. |

I voted 2, since I love the Big and Little T for some canyon carving, but I've done a similar Malibu drive (w lunch at Neptune's Net of course ), and it's amazing as well.
Exciting stuff! |

ran gmr yesterday to get home. it takes about the same amount of time to run the long way as it does to sit in Friday traffic lol. might as well have fun in the mountains than sit in traffic

Malibu wins. can anyone local can do a dry run and let me know if we need to make any tweaks? ie if there are any construction zones we need to avoid or if you want to suggest a tighter back road instead of these main roads.

Mulholland west of Encinal (and even Kanan Dume) is an annoying road to drive in our big cars...its better for a Miata/Lotus. It's tight, decreasing-radius turns and just not fun - this segment:
Did you mean to not include The Snake? You route takes Kanan around doesn't go past The Rock Store/The Snake (which I also find to be an annoying road to drive) You are also skipping Old Topanga Canyon road which is fun: Topganga Canyon is going to be fucked...there is always traffic with idiots going over the hill to Malibu |
