I wonder how this looks, inside the car. I have a glacier silver 335i with blue center trim, any idea if this is to much for all 4 doors when I have a black interior?

Why would you want 2 different color trims in car

Exactly the reason BMW made these this color.

The trim on door continues the line from the Dashboard.

Isnt it very difficult to install this trim? Of course its available to buy, but to remove then replace the door panel needs to come off and some kind of plastic soldering needs to be done

Yes but it's not that difficult , to re install use a epoxy to mount back into original position .

Interesting thanks! I think I'll try it when the weather cools down. I wish there was a way to make the ambient light brighter while im in that area to kill two birds with the same stone.

You could mount some small leds under the lip in this thing possibly or some sort of small led rope lighting strip

Actually you cannot do that.

When you take it off you will fine there is just a clear plastic tube to carry light running throughout the trim

There is only 1 light source attached to that tube which is behind the door panel.

You would need to do some major redesign and customization to change it.

just to make sure, these are the part numbers for the matte blue trim (not some other shade of blue)

Similar to the trim in this thread:
http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...=855905&page=2

I really may need to get this, the more I see this the better it looks

I'm pretty sure the factory would only come out with one blue color to match the already blue interior trim

No that's the blue that comes stock on the silver hexagonal trim on the dash as an option. Only one blue available from BMW on interior trim
