Hi,

I know this has probably been asked and answere before, but I can't seem to find an answer

I saw a function in my car's (2014 F30 328i) HU_NBT CAFD file:
3000 HMI >M_LapTimer

The default was nicht_aktive and I recoded it to aktiv. Unfortunately I still can't seem to find how to have Lap Timer appear on iDrive.

Are some other items that need to be coded? Or is one of those items that you have to have an M-car for it to work due to hardware?

Would appreciate some help

You see it under ConnectedDrive -> BMW Apps.
If you don't have BMW Apps, it won't work

My car came with Tech package which includes BMW Apps plus FSC code for BMW apps. Quite a while after coding, LapTimer appeared under Navigation (not ConnectedDrive) and it only works, of sorts, for trips I've stored??

Have one other thing to try?

On my 2014 F30, after coding it showed up as an item on the NAVIGATION menu of the iDrive and as I said, it only works on stored trips.

I went to my map and scrolled down the icons on the side and found nothing.

What year is your F30?

Download laptimer on your mobile phone, as well as connected drive App. and it shall work.
