Brake Line Replacement

Am looking to replace my brake lines and wanted to see if someone who has gone through the process could answer some questions.

I recently saw a YouTube video that talked about how easy it is to twist and break the hard lines when replacing the brake hose and that there is a specific trick to the process - however the video did a poor job of describing the correct method.

From what I could gather, you need to
1. Remove the hose from the clip holding it in place next to the hard line connection
2. Hold the hard line connector in place and rotate the hose side

Does this sound right?
