F30 LCI Dimming Side Mirrors?

Apparently at some point during the life of the F3X, BMW cheeped out and now only provide auto dimming ext. mirror fitted to the drivers side.

Couple of questions:

Can I still buy an auto dimming pax. side ext. mirror and install it on my F31 LCI?

Can I buy 2x Ext. ECE aspherical dimming mirrors and install them on my US spec F31 LCI?

It depends on the connections behind the passenger mirror. I would recommend pulling it out and seeing if there are 2 connections just like the driver side. One connection would be for heating and the other for dimming.
The aspherical mirrors would work just fine provided they have those same connections and you will find them on eBay just as the link provided.
Highly recommend this as it significantly improves the side and rear view capabilities. The ECE mirrors also don't have the plastic mounding on the periphery increasing the surface area.
I have these ECE aspheric mirrors and the first day had to get used to the view from it but then now it's so much better and not sure why more cars US cars have this standard. US Archaic regulations!
