Coding real time traffic
Hey fellas...
In the old v1.7 of the F3x coding reference guide there's a section for coding the real time traffic info. My question is... if I coded this, does that mean I wouldn't have to pay for the subscription from BMWs Connected Drive website?

If you look it only applies to cars having HU_CIC.
If your car is a 2014 you should have HU_NBT. I think you're out of luck.

I have 2014 F30 with NBT. After the subscription expired I still can get traffic info but it's slower. I believe it automatically switched to radio-based traffic info and no need to code.

Hmm 2014 F30 NBT here and it didn't switch over. Not a huge deal since I mainly use Waze, but interesting why it stopped working.
