Coding Fog light/Headlights

So i coded my fog lights not to illuminate when truing. I did that about the same time i put my car on coils. Now i am experiencing my dynamic headlights not functioning properly. They do not move side-to-side when turning the steering wheel.

My questions is can any of the things i did be related to this function not working anymore? I am more inclined to think it is the coding rather than lowering the car but i'm not sure. It could be totally unrelated and just a coincidence.

Anyone have any useful info?

You coded fogs to not be adaptive and you are wondering why lamps are not dynamic?

Well i guess if you want to call the function of turning on one fog light in the direction you are turning adaptive then yes that is what i am asking.

I did not think that turning the fog light assist function off would also render my headlights non-adaptive. Would it do the same thing if i were to do a fog light delete?

I get what you are saying but i did not think the two (fog lights and headlights) were connected in that way. Are you telling me they are? and that by disabling my fog lights would cause my headlights to stop working?

Some vehicles (eg, F015 or F30) use separate lamps (ie fogs) part of VLD. And yes, that is adaptive. Maybe you did not completely disable and that is why you are getting error.

Meaning that you have no idea what codes i altered or deleted?

But you can disable that fog light feature while retaining the adaptive headlights function?

Seems kind of counter-intuitive; but, I would assume yes. Though, admittedly, I have never tried to setup a semi-functional, crippled system.

You can code VLD & NGHB on an F80/F82/F83, which in North America do not get fog lights. But, NA F3x's lack the necessary optic micro shutters. As such, not sure what you are trying to accomplish.

Well i get what you are saying but i just don't like the look of one fog light illuminating while turning. but i do like the headlamps turning in the direction of the steering wheel. If i need more illumination i will manually turn the fog lights on.

So i guess my coding guy made a mistake. If anyone can assist please let me know.

Thanks.

My F010 has cornering lamps within the main headlamp. As such, I get illumination to the side I turn, without involving fog lamps.

My F015 instead uses fog lamps as cornering lights so it behaves as your F30. I am not sure of a way to keep them illuminated (ie left one stay on when turn right). But, VLD is speed and steering-wheel-direction based.

I am not sure whether your coder made a mistake; I would have to look at vehicle files to know what was changed.

Maybe someone else knows and can assist to achieve desired functionality.
