You lucky, lucky man.
It's the one time a dealership becomes Disneyland. How long was the transit time of the train from Halifax to your dealership and PDI? Last edited by shundel; 05-18-2017 at 11:43 AM.. |

I'm with you, brother. Placed order on Feb 5 and production date on Apr 7. It's still on the train en route to the West Coast since May 11. I'll enjoy your delivery vicariously for now.

Upcoming mods (short-term):
- 3M Gloss Black roof - Tinted windows - Gloss Black Kidney Grilles with M-colored stripes Will surely look into a bunch of M Performance stuff (front/rear spoiler, diffuser, mirror caps, the works!), VMR V710FFs, maybe even an LSD... First impressions: - Steering feel/weight sucks... but I'm coming from an E92 335i, so... - Really lively, agile handling - Good brake feel - Suspension is quite supple, even in Sport mode - Great interior layout, quality materials - Auto rev-match takes some getting used to; I'd rather do that myself - Skis will fit in the trunk, using the pass-through I'll update with more as I go... in the meantime, thoughts, comments? |

I find I like the steering better after setting up Sport mode just to drive train so the suspension and steering are like in comfort mode. (To me steering is too stiff in sport + and not sure if I really noticed the suspension difference between the modes... but that may as well be me still getting used to the car.) I am thinking about getting my windows tinted too. Do you know a good place in the MTL area? One thing I am worried about is that if they must remove the door panels to tint the front windows. I am afraid to get a bunch of rattles after since my car has been rattle free so far after about 2000km. |
