Hello, new to the forum Been over on e46Fanatics for about 10 years.

Just ordered a M240i Coupe! Unfortunately still awaiting a build slot apparently I'll get an update today This is my 9th car to date and will be my third Bimmer I've not drove a m240i yet as the local dealerships didn't have a demo but I did get a test of a 2017 340i auto which had me grinning from ear to ear and filled me with nostalgia of my old E46 M3 which is the only car I have ever truly missed.

Driver Comfort Package
Sun Protection Package

Stealership:
MP Exhaust
405M's
MP Splitter
MP Black Kidneys
MP Carbon rear spoiler
MP Sill Extensions
MP sill decals
MP Rear Diffuser

First mods will be the Ali Express mirror caps (none M style) in CF (Lacquer ordered too) and a Thinkware F770 dashcam.

The build wait is agonizing but it is well worth it. The 240 is a great car and a blast to drive!

Dealer has updated, looking at the last week in June I need to learn how to go into hibernation until then...

Two things to be aware of. The faster it goes, the better it feels. Have looked at the speedo many times to see im about 20 over the speed limit. Around here, cops give 15 over before a ticket. On trips i set cruise to 5-10 over the limit.
The other is when in Eco Mode it turns into a coaster wagon when off the throttle, there is zero engine braking. Still getting used to that.
I use Sport and Comfort the most. Sport+ holds shifts too long for my liking. On a trip, Eco gives amazing MPG.

Dealership is now saying anything from last week in June to potentially the 3rd week in July. Its really frustrating.
