Best Place to Get Tint

Looking to get a tint on my car as it's basically see through right now. Have read that Ceramic is best, but I am open to opinions on this matter. Regardless, what are some of the best places to go in the DC/MD/VA area for a quality tint without breaking the bank? Thanks!

LA Tint in Manassas had a clinic for the club in the fall - good operations, and they've had good feedback through the years from locals on the forums. They also have a location in Sterling. They use Llumar - several different price points. Ask if they have a discount for club members! I plan to have my ZHP coupe done there later this year.

I've used MC Tint in Frederick MD, the guy operates from his home, therefore he offer competitive prices with excellent quality. Check him out on Yelp.

LA Tint in Sterling is very good, but one of their best guys went to work for Raja at Speed and Tech Motoring. He did both of my cars and def recommend him.

He did a great job on my X5 40e.

Probably looking at MC Tint as he offers the most competitive price while still offering lifetime warranty on his work. Rashad is $450, LA is $375, and he is $250 for full ceramic so it seems like a no brianer. Next step is wrapping the kidneys black, smoking the fogs, and paint matching the side reflectors.

I use Insane Auto in Annapolis on West st... I go there and go to the
back room where there's a couch & recliner and a 70 inch TV and chill!
They always have done a good job on every car I've had... 4 BMW's and a Lexus

Didn't know Raja did tints now ! I took all my 3 Cars to LA TINT at Sterling .

Ever get the tint done? I'm looking at MC Tint as well since it's pretty close by.

Yeah he did a great job and was able to hang out at his shop/house while waiting! Got my first ticket on the ticket the other day actually

Turns out 19% is a little over the limit even with the medical waiver lol. But I got 20% all around and an additional 70% on the windsheild and have loved it. It has helped A LOT keeping the summer heat out of my car when it sits at work or in the driveway, and also at protecting my leather from cracking.

As long as I don't keep getting tickets, I am just going to pay this one off and keep the tint on the car as I love the way it looks and performs.

I used Custom Car Kings in Temple Hills MD. Paid $106 for a complete standard tint with a lifetime warranty. In at 10AM out by 11.

What percentage and what material for the tint? I would be skeptical if it was full ceramic for that price

I had my 328i Wagon down at TintFX in Vienna. They use Suntek Carbon CXP and paid $300 for a lifetime warranty. Overall a good job and very quick and easy.
