New E91 - Which license plate do you like best?
Wagon lovers and all vanity plate lovers--
Which plate would you put on your shiny new 6MT wagon? I won't necessarily go with the community favorite, but curious to see the public reaction. Thanks! |

Out of those, I like the first one. More people would actually get it instead of BMW geeks only.

3pdl wgn is my vote. But you should always go with 'SWGN WGN' if available

My vote would be 6mt e91. I am not a fan of the black retro CA plates. Everyone here has them, and usually on the wrong cars..
I have HART WGN on our e91 in the cheap CA plates. |

3PDL E91 gets my vote due to being so under the radar. But that's because personally I'm not a fan of vanity plates on a DD FWIW. This one will make even an enthusiast do a double take and question whether it was intentional or not and for the lay person, it might as well be a generic plate. If you're wanting something more obvious, I'd recommend one of the other two.

Gents,
Thank you much, all good feedback to ponder. I should have mentioned that the car is space gray. I'm leaning toward the retro plate mainly because it doesn't stand out nearly as much as a white rectangle on an otherwise fairly dark car (black wheels, trim, tint). Sure it's nothing close to a classic, but fits the look I'm going for much better. Out of curiosity, has there ever been a vanity plate thread on here? Perhaps that needs to happen. |
