Local PDX suspension shop?

I've been kicking around the idea of lowering the ride height to eliminate the unsightly front gap on my M3. After doing a little reading of other threads, I would probably choose to stick with the M Performance suspension to try to keep the ride as "stock" as possible and protect the warranty. Dealership wants $3000 for the mod. From another thread I saw that getbmwparts.com has the kit for several hundred less than the dealership. But I'm wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good independent shop in the PDX area that would do the install and alignment? I'm also concerned about 2 issues with possibly going to a indy vs dealer: 1) is the warranty still intact? And 2) does my new 2017 need a software update with the install, and if so, is that a dealership only function?

Much thanks!

The real bummer with the design of this site is how these regional forums are separated--this topic comes up every so often among the previous generation owners and time-and-time again, the highest recommendation continues to be, AR Auto Service, Lake Oswego, Or.

Enjoy
