Main dealer Servicing recommendations in the South West

Hi all,

Do any of you South West based owners - Bristol, Bath, Glos, Swindon area, have any recommendations on which main dealer to go with for Servicing?

I see the main options are Dick Lovett (Bath, Bristol and Swindon) or:

Cotswold (Gloucester and Cheltenham).

I see everyone has loads of good feedback for Cotswold for their parts department, so wondered if the Servicing was as good?

Cotswold is my preferred option at the moment, so welcome any feedback on your own experiences.

I used to take my E90 to Rybrook (Worcester) for servicing, apart from a couple of services at Dick Lovett in Bristol. I had experience of Rybrook through buying my car from them.

Service-wise, I thought they were much better than DL - usually a better price as well, but open for a haggle if not. It was a much nicer dealership to visit than either DL or the Cotswolds, but I never used the latter for servicing.

Always felt that Rybrook were worth the (relative) trek and will quite probably use them for my F36 when the time comes.

I use Rybrook of Worcester, very helpful & they do there upmost to keep you happy.

Lovely ladies there too

I used DL Bristol as they are the closest. Had some warranty work done which was completely fine, haven't had a service YET, but they have always been helpful whenever I have gone, busy, but helpful.

I've always used Dick Lovett in Bristol and never had any problems at all. They've always been helpful and friendly and always taken the time to help. I'm happy with their service.

Used DL Bristol since 2011 for my servicing and never had a problem apart from a small disagreement over some out of warranty work which was quickly resolved (in my favour).

I'd happily recommend them.

I have been using Dick Lovett Bristol for 11 years, bought two cars from them and had all service and warranty work done there. Great value for 4 years or older cars with £100 oil change. Nice coffee and biscuits, will do most work while you wait and even have a motorbike showroom on site if you are into bikes
