3500 miles with the 340 and it was time to consider the MPPK..

Cheers to Aran and Nigel for the great service. Massive added bonus of bumping into mr Grant_7.. Nice bit of WOT in his MPPK for a taster of what was to come

Straight to business. I sh*t you not, this thing wakes the dead. In sport/sport+ you have a straight-through pipe and boy does it tell. You can FEEL the exhaust. Virtual sonic boom just coming off the north circular

Stupidity aside, I wanted the MPPK for the warranty-friendly performance.

So what's it like? Well no massive surprises tbh.. peak power and torque is wound up to 11. It's noticeable, but we knew that. The beauty is the changed character; engine is just smoother, more purposeful pick up, quicker shift points and an effortless pace that'll spit out NIP's.

Sport+ with stick to left in the damp and it's losing traction in 3rd. Child's play for the diesels, but you had to work it pretty hard for that to happen before.

The sweet spot if you don't want to go nuclear is Comfort with stick to left; exhaust is roughty but measured, it's devastating in the mid range, and if you hit 4000rpm the flaps drop open and bellow their tune anyway. Lots and lots of fun.

All in it's a very rounded package.

Nice! Really must hear one in the flesh. I think the mppk fitted version of the dtuk box I have takes power to 400bhp odd so might be worth a look!

A flap operated cat back exhaust and remap to 355 bhp and 370 lb-ft torque. Warranty is unaffected

Good to meet you yesterday rosstin

And glad you had a good drive back.

Another MPPSK convert, and someone else who has benefited now from actually hearing MPPSK in person rather than on Youtube.

I was largely in your mindset too.

The thought of gunfire at every corner worried me, but actually you need to prompt it.

In comfort with flaps closed you get the best of both.. added performance and a throaty but restrained note. Not over the top.

You can save the thunder for hooligan mode.

My neighbours may think I am a pr*ck on the cold starts though. I can live with that

Sure Blackpear, I checked and I can post on the forum...Rybrook Warwick will do it for:

"carbon trims supplied and fitted £1966.33 all in
Chrome trims £1855.62 all in inc power upgrade."

Ask for Paul Dable in sales to get that price.

Does he mean chrome or titanium trims though??

That's a great price. I think the carbon tips look ace on my sapphire black.

Oh and it's getting quicker!

Have you had it fitted by Rybrook yet? The reason I ask is that there's very little room with the larger diameter exhaust that MPPSK entails. Cooper Reading have fitted something like 10-15 MPPSKs now and have learnt a great deal as there can easily be problems (as I had with mine).

Worth checking with Rybrook if they've fitted any already.

Thanks Hoss
That's very interesting, I'm buying from Rybrook...(not Warwick)

I have the mppk on my 335i, it's not loud at all inside the car but on the outside makes a nice burble, according to the sports dials too I'm getting 350 bhp, not sure accurate that is tho. Doesn't it also come with a different air intake?
