Velvet Blue Metallic

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...01702132262942

I asked for a price on this when I was speccing mine and it was £3200 so I didn't go for it. This is the first one I've seen in that colour.

Edit: Just seen the tyres. Who on earth cheaps out on tyres on a car like that!? Ergh

Colour looks great. Tyres and wheel refurb less so. Soper direct might be an offshoot of Soper BMW in Lincoln. Wonder if it came in as a p/x at Sopers and for some reason couldn't be retailed?

Yeah, I suspect they didn't want to fork out for all the bits it needed to be returned to stock (luggage net, grilles, tyres, number plates and possibly new brakes). It's a shame it's not been looked after properly.

They're on the same road as the main dealer so it's likely to be the story.

Is that the same colour? Nice if it is but that 3 stripe grille looks so shite its unbelievable. There is a 6er with one at the work car park and really looks cheap with it.

It really winds me up when dealers put blurd photos on Autotrader of their cars.

Just shows how brain dead and clueless some people are.

Ghastly colour imo!

I remember they did the E36 in a similar colour, which really hurt their resale value!

Plenty of people. They are an OE supplier to factories and some of their track day tyres are not half bad.

But yeah, I wouldn't buy them. They're not ditch-finder material like WanLi et al but there are better tyres for similar money.

Looks stunning on the F80, dreadful on the F31 (but that could be the photograph and lack of a clean car in the photos), but there is something that is just so right about the F80 it carries colours so well.

I'd love to see the empirical data to back that statement up.
