Spacers
I thought i really wanted to do this last night but now looking at some pictures online and im really worried about it looking chavy and out of place shall we say.
I have 20" M performance original 405's with ACS springs. Just wondering what your thoughts are as i know a few of you have had them fitted. I think i am running Front: 8"J x 20", Offset 36 H2/Rear: 8.5"J x 20", Offset 47 H2. But im not really sure how to check. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys |

If they're genuine 405s then they'll sit in exactly same place as the 442 or 403 wheels, which is slightly too far in to my eyes.
Many have gone for spacers and I don't recall anyone who was unhappy in any way with them.

12/15 I'd say!
I have the rep 405's which are way wider than OEM and I went 7mm front and 5mm rear! |

Make sure you buy good quality hub centric spacers. When fitting make sure they fit flush to the hub and that everything is clean (you may need to wire brush round the hubs) and don't forget to put some copper grease on the face so they don't stick.

hey again mate. if u had bought my car u wouldn't have to non of this already all done
anyway they make a big difference visually. I have 12 front 15 rear but I do recommend 10 / 15 as the fronts stick out a tad on 12s |

I have the same wheels and recently got the ACS springs. I have decided not to go for the spacers. Apart for being easier to kerb your wheels I don't like the look it gives for this particular car anyway. If it makes much difference in handling i am sure its minimal and i am unsure about the effects on load bearing parts due to the increased stress. |
