Who has machine polished their F3*?

I'm interested to know what results you got from what products/pads?

Not done my BMW yet but I have a cleanyourcar branded DA (similar to DAS 6 Pro) and will be using Menzerna polishing compounds and CG HexLogic pads.

I have used this combination previously on a few VAG cars with good results.

It will be topped off with Nanolex Si3D and CarPro Reload.

Had a new bathroom fitted yesterday and the plumber wiped the brand new black toilet seat which was covered in plaster dust.....

Scratched it to bits, £100 for a toilet seat FFS

Machine polished with Das 6 V1 polisher and mini foam pad and Menzerna paste

Now looks better than new. Even gave it a coat of Zaino Z5

What is my life coming to.........

And if you have an accident, it should give some nice beading.

It has a 3 litre flush when you need extra performance and an Eco-Pro flush when you have a nugget to get rid of.

Decided against the 2 litre as it was all show and no go

I've used the DA to take the watermarks off our granite work tops, they are handy.

I've got loads of polishes and pads from previous cars, but just wondered if anyone had excellent results with a particular product.

Will probably start with Sonax ex04-06 with orange hex pad

I throughly decontaminate, clay if needed, apply Super Resin Polish via DA to cleanse paint and remove any small swirls (megs ultimate compound for deeper marks), finish with HD Wax or FK1000P.

Love polishing. On my E92 space grey, the paint looked tired after 10 years. Chemical guys VSS with an Orange Lake Country pad gave it a showroom worthy finish. I finished off with Sonax Machine Polish.

On our Sapphire Black F30 the paint was in good condition and only a few light swirls. So I used the sonax machine polish as above but with a black finishing pad for virtually no cut.

I've got a clean your car branded das6 one that I've had for years along with a cheapo silverline rotary that I use for compounding.

Have managed some great results in the past with them. Polished my wife's old e46 with it using menzerna polish and hexlogic pads.

My 340 is pretty immaculate so doesn't need it ATM although the gloss black Pilar trims could use it
