Spotted these (same as my winter wheels) from Bluebell BMW in Crewe, seems like a good price and thought someone on here might be interested...

Not a great price for 18" 405m's. I saw these at my local dealership at the beginning of last year for £1750. They were still there 5 months later so made them a cheeky offer of £1000 which to my surprise they accepted.

Since then I have seen them on eBay a few time for around the £1k mark, one was £900

I think the problem is that they are a square setup and the tyres they fitted have a load index of 91Y all round which according to my door card is not permitted on the rears.

I bought them and put winters on them...they are a nightmare to keep clean though, not the best choice for winter wheels

Blimey that's a bargain!

I find them good winter wheels... my car is usually dirty in the winter anyway!

Me too. They don't show the dirt like lighter wheels, and as I've coated mine a pressure wash takes off most of the dirt anyway.

I believe they are forged but I haven't been able to find much about them. They are very very light compared to my 400m's.

They make the steering significantly lighter and weirdly the ride a bit bouncier especially in combination with the extra load run flat winter tyres. I think the heavy 400m's simply smash the road into submission
