Not looking great after a few months. Should I get them replaced or is this normal?

my F10 suffering from same problem mate , i just left it they black can hardly see them .

i think you just need to keep on top of cleaning that's all .

Not great though after only a few months. I clean them every 2 weeks or so. The motor is in for a service in a few weeks, will ask the dealer for a set of replacements as the other tip is also corroding although not as much.

Heard this happened to someone else many moons ago.

Think you need to make sure you're applying some sort of sealant.

Fine that to mine and in previous 320d sportline never had an issue.

Had them for two years on my 330d and they were still fine, now had another pair for 1 year and they are also fine. I don't really clean them much or put any sealant on them either!

Had them on my M135 an M235, both rotted within a few months, in the end I fitted chrome

Have you added an additional exhaust tip cover then ?

My F36 is weeks away and I debating if I need to add any mods to the tips for a better look, though I'm hoping the 440i set up is pretty decent anyways.

Purely aesthetics here I might add.

Yeah I got the black exhaust tips from my dealer. This is how they are after about 4 months. Poor to say the least. Will be asking for some replacements.
