Summers on already?

So I went for a run today and ran in shorts and a t-shirt! First time I have done that for a while. Positively summer out there here in middle England.

Time to take off the Winters? I do miss those 19" beasts (albeit not the crap RFTs!)

It will get colder before it gets warmer again, I can remember snow in April.

I'd wait 6 weeks yet until you ditch the Winters, tempting as it may be with weather like today.

I'm going to take the winters off the 330e this weekend I think, mainly as the winters are my own tyres, rather than lease company tyres, and if I do I can get at least another winter or two out of them. Also, they are the Pirelli's and I hate them.

The Michelin Pilot Alpins on the 335d however are great even in milder weather and so they'll stay on till we get back from holiday in Switzerland in 4 weeks time.

I've been running in shorts and vest/t-shirt so far all winter ... well, if you can call it a winter, that is.

First half marathon of 2017 is only 16 days away !

Haven't raced for a few years since I snapped my Achilles tendon. Ouch.

Spring is round the corner

Does the word "so" at the beginning of the sentence add anything to it? Or did you just throw it in for free?

I was bored at work so thought I would go on the forum and splurt rubbish here and there

Was considering getting some of these to save the bother of winters. Assume they are only non RFT?

Same here. MPSS performed excellently, yet again - no slip, no slide, no drama.

That snow was a nightmare, don't know how I managed to get through the winter.

We had like mm of it for like 2 hours.

We use summers year round in socal. At least I do. They seem to work well in the rain, better than all seasons. Maybe you need winter tires for snow and ice.

Thinking about swapping my winters for my summers in a week or two. The worst of our 'winter' seems to be over...I hope

Winters still on, a few slidey moments on 0C roads, ave temp has been 3-5C here for weeks. No idea how summers would've coped, but can't wait to get 19's back on, even just for aesthetic reasons. Maybe towards the end of March...

Just swapped the summers back in this morning in the 330e. The 442s look a gazillion times better than the 18 winters!
