Soon to be for sale - testing the water for UK buyers

So we have our second baby due in May so basically need a bigger car so hoping to purchase an RS6 next. That means letting my m5 go which I will greatly miss as I have loved owning this car...

So ive got a price in my head with regards to what I think its worth for a private sale based on what I can see on Autotrader/Pistonheads but thought I would test the water here to see what everything think before I put it up for sale....Lots of poorly maintained examples out there but this car is in as new condition

Reg Dec 2011 - 44k, Full BMW service history with Bmw extended warranty in place for another 11 months. Original Spec put this car at nearly £100k when new

Here is the spec off the top of my head but full spec can be provided

Monte Carlo Blue
M performance Spoiler
Challenge centre rear diffuser
RKP front splitter
Full silverstone Leather incl alcantara headliner
Comfort access
M Multi function Sports seats
Split folding rear seats
BMW Apps
20 inch wheels
Reversing assist camera
Powered boot lid
Soft close doors
THrough loading ski bag
Surround view
telephone USB interface
BMW Apps
Internet
Sun protection glass
Speed limit display

Only got these pics for the timebeing...Not the best pics but hopefully you will get the idea

My friend just bought a 2013 (63) LCI with every option including B&O for £34k from BMW.
35k was the mileage.
He even go brand new disk and pads included. Plus, I sold my old 62 plate M5 with the same spec as yours. Mileage was 40k. Sold it last December for £29k

Just thought I'll give you an idea on how to price yours,

How did you friend know that the disks and pads need changing ?

I'm looking for an LCI myself for around that much, do you know how much did he manage to haggle down or did he pay the asking price ?

Spec is good however has no full leather which in my opinion transforms the interior of the car. As this option was so expensive from the factory there are very few M5s with it on the road, hence I believe I can demand a premium based on that alone...forgetting some of the mods that are on the car as well which I know probably wont add to the value...

When its time to sell I think I will put the car up for 30k and see what happens...Ive seen a few on the forecourt and there really are some badly maintained examples out there so Im still hopeful as my car is in as new condition

Because he was told it would need changing. He paid the asking price for it.
