Help with decisions on lowering springs.

Hey, guys currently have a 340 xdrive on 19's with EDC.

From H&R's, DINAN, & ACS Lowering Springs... which out of these is the best route to go for a nice drop and daily driving?

And, yes I've searched but all I read is mixed reviews. Particularly with H&R's. ACS seems like the favorite around here.

All the referenced manufactures make quality stuff. I really believe it's going to break down to personal preference and past experiences. On my current F30 with EDC, I run H&Rs and have no complaints. I'll be augmenting this setup with Dinan's Shockware tomorrow so I have no loyalty to one specific brand.

I went with Dinan and would recommend them. ACS was the other option I was considering too. I opted against H&R due to being the largest drop of the 3 which would wear out the stock shocks/struts the quickest.

How's the drop look in person? And how does it drive?

I went with H&R Sport for my xDrive. The Sport version from H&R has a less aggressive drop than the H&R Super Sport and I was quite happy with the more moderate drop.

Before:

After:

Please note it is xDrive, so about 10mm higher from factory..

Drives much firmer and handles so much better. The drop was 0.5 inches in front and 1.25 inches in rear. Prior to the drop my rear was 3/8 higher now after the drop the rear is 3/8 lower than the front. That's the only negative. I wish ground to fender was the same front and back.

Does it look uneven or odd? I thought it was suppose too drop an inch in the front. Have you asked DINAN? Maybe the springs are wrong?

Others have stated the same that the front doesn't drop quite as much. It doesn't look odd but doesn't look perfect.

Have you consider Vogtland spring? A great product, great quality! Made by Eibach, these were made in germany and offer a 10 years warranty on the product!! Price is under H&R. Just went with that for my f33! Waiting summer to install them but had read a lot about them and really good reviews! worth a try!

Don't have an xDrive but just got Dinan springs and bumpstops installed this past weekend on a 335i with EDC. The front is also a bit higher than the rear but after putting on my summer wheels the gap is very slight now. To me the ride seems to be the same but the floating feeling is gone. I also had the Dinan shockware installed and the ride feel is about perfect in comfort and sport. Sport+ feels a bit jarring considering the bad highway conditions here.
