JD75 would be your man. Bought a few parts off him and he's excellent to deal with.

You made a very good decision, I am looking to buy this same intercooler too.

I'd never molest my car and cut it up to make a couple of extra kW lol.

Unless someone has aftermarket turbos, there are no excuse for cutting up the car and fitting a 7" IC.

For stock turbos, the Wagner Evo 1 Performance is by far the best cooler on the market (Wagner is designed and made in Germany too, big plus for me personally).

Also, the larger the IC, the more turbo boost loss will be occurring between the hot and cold sides of the IC, so fitting a massive cooler on stock turbos is not the best idea really. As they don't build as high boost as aftermarket turbos do.

Aftermarket turbos make ~ +30psi roughly, losing some boost pressure by fitting a massive intercooler is not an issue in that case.

This is the way I understand things - Any pressure difference across the core is essentially shortening the life of your turbo. Reason being that boost pressure is measured after the core and so the turbos have to spin harder to make that pressure. The bigger the core the lower the pressure drop the easier it is for them to make the target pressure. Also, the bigger the core the cooler the intake charge, the better the combustion. This means that the engine isn't as stressed and also aides engine longevity....

Hope that makes sense...

Just installed mine today took me an 1hr however most this time was spent cleaning everything out properly. There was so much dirt and leaves etc in there 😐 Intercooler is a perfect fit I couldn't be more happy with it! You won't go wrong with the Wagner Evo 1. I would not hesitate to buy it again!
