Question Help needed: DCT Fluid change/top off procedure.

Between steps 6 and 7 of the write-up below, should the car be kept running?

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=746269

This is not specified and I would think can make a significant difference in how much fluid is added. Thanks for the help!

I reached out to the writer of the DIY and confirmed the car should be running so that fluid is being drawn into the cooler and not settling back into the pan.

I left the car running when refilling, or else the fluid would just leak out preventing a complete fill

Great, thank you! So this seems to be a different filter from the one by the mechatronics unit correct?

The mechatronics unit is on the opposite side, this is the only filter I know of that filters the DCT oil

My mistake, all along I've been under the impression that the filter was next to the mechatronics unit.
