our test car had a manual gearbox which turned out to be the best BMW stick I’ve driven in eons. It’s still very light to throw around, but less notchy, and there’s a satisfying magnetic tug from gate to gate.

So happy to read this. But it's making me more impatient for mine to arrive.

I was blown away when I test drove the manual 240. Auto rev matching when downshifting? What a brilliant novelty! I didn't realise it had it as I was borking up every down shift...

So what's the possibility of coding auto rev matching on a M235 ?
