Final Drive Gearing Information: AT, MT, 3.08, 3.46, 3.62

Here is some information I collected for those entertaining transmission swaps and different final drive ratios. Hopefully this can be used as a quick guide to help people decide which setup will be best for their intended use.

Unfortunately for me and my MT + M5 LSD wagon it doesn't look like I will be very good at 60-130s!

I focused on the following configurations but you can punch in the other final drives into the calculator (chart) if needed:

3.08 OEM on MT E9X, MT E6X
3.46 OEM on AT E9X
3.62 OEM on E9X M3, E6X M5

AT + 3.46 2,100rpm @74mph
1st: 38
2nd: 68
3rd: 105
4th: 140
5th: 184
6th: 232
