Thoughts regarding Extended Leather Interior

Getting ready to order car and I'm wonder if there is value in the extended leather or should I just save my money?

Thanks

The only reason I would bother is if you want to see more colour inside...It isn't really worth it for the extra leather itself.

So if you are going black, don't bother.

Go to a dealer and check out the leather. It is real nice leather. I like it extended, really adds finish. And as noted above, extra color.

If you have the extra cash for it and like the extra color underneath the steering wheel area then go for it, its better if you get premium package since it makes it relatively cheaper.

Looks tacky IMO. I'm gettin fox red and I cant have half of my dash red! I would only consider it if I was getting the black interior.

i have black extended and have seen fox red extended and they look really nice. The extended completes the center console wich is just plastic if you dont go extended route.

The only value that matter is your value, after all you will be paying $1100 for it. So it is as simple as if you like it or not, because if the question is based on resale value then it is back to personal taste. Whoever will be buying your car in the future has to like Extended Leather to pay whatever you will be asking for that "feature", because if not that person will not be paying anything extra for it...

Having been in cars with and without the extended leather-

The extended leather gives the cabin a much better fit and finish. The plastic the leather replaces is cheap looking.

IF you have the $, then buy it- however, with all the other great options, this should be one of the last upgrade most people do.

I've ordered my car with silver and am don't think extended is to much color. However extended red does seem a bit much to me (I don't like red to begin with so my opinion is biased.

I dont really know how much value it will have later but I think It will have some value
over M3's that dont have Extended Leather!

Extended Leather Is Worth it Depending on what color interior you are going with!
If your going with Fox Red, Extended Leather is Very Much Worth it as it Makes the Interior
Come to Life and It looks really really Good! It also makes the Interior Seem Larger In a way!
I have seen Fox Red in person with and Without the Extended Leather!
If you are going with Fox Red, For Sure go with Extended Leather!
I love the Extended Leather in Fox Red and thats what Im going with especially Seeing it in person.
It really Makes a Big Difference.
I have Also seen the Black Extended Leather and It really Doesnt make that Big
of a Difference untill you Look for it. But with the Red, Its a Must have for me!
If your going with Silver Interior and want the Extended, Its hard to See it as the
Plastic is the Same color...... So it depends on the Color if you want to go with Extended
Leather IMHO! So if your going with Black or Silver, Save your Money! Thats what I would do!
But with Red, Go for it!

I love my extended leather. It's worth the money. Your already spending a good amount on the car. I have black extended leather and it truly makes a difference. It feels great

i have the silver non extended interior. I personally think that is a little overdone. especially in red. I like the look of a mostly black interior with silver/red just on the seats and doors.

i had red in my 335 and liked it, but too much red is

I chose not to go with extended.....was an added $1,800 CDN that I could not justify. But, if you can afford it, and you like the looks, go for it!
