MHD V7 Beta logging run

Just did a logging run with MHD V7 beta - stage 1 93. Car is an 07 6MT E90 with 100K miles. Turbos and injectors replaced at 60K, and has always been run stock. Just had an intake clean, new coils, plugs and Vanos solenoid clean. Vacuum system was also smoke tested and all OK. Boost solenoids were also checked and all OK. Compression tested and all at 170 psi.

Lots of timing corrections going on here - main cause of concern is that it's across all cylinders, some up to 7 deg. Any thoughts? Fueling looks to be OK?

Have always run 93 octane, though the car does sit for a week at a time not being used. Not sure if that changes the composition of the fuel!

Try stepping down a map to see if timing corrections go away. Gas quality might very well be an issue for you.

May revert to stock for the time being. The fuel I always use is BP Ultimate which is meant to be 98 octane / 93 RON but it may have been a bad batch.

I would try a 91 Oct map and see if the timing cleans up just to quickly verify that you don't happen to have a bad tank of gas. Shit happens.

Ha ha yep! Here it's just '98'. I get the RON bit round the wrong way.

98 RON shouldn't be showing such severe timing corrections provided the fuel was not a bad batch. You could always go back to a V6 91/95 RON map to test whether it is a fuel octane or hardware problem.

I have to say I was pretty surprised by how bad it was given all the work that's just been done. But also I did a logging run on a stock tune and had some big timing drops as well. I'm thinking the fuel must be a bad batch.
