Orings leaking at oil cooler housing hoses, again

So I replaced my ofh gaskets and the two orings where the hoses attach. Its been about three thousand miles and I have a drip coming from the hoses. Ive been wiping it down daily to make sure that where its coming from. Any pointers here ? O rings were brand new....

Oem orings?

My thoughts are damaged or twisted orings during install; possibly not lubed during install; or debris somehow got in there preventing a good seal.

yeah, oem o rings. Will have to order a new pair and check it out. Just didnt know if this was a common issue.

so I installed new orings and mating areas were clean of any debris as was before. Im still getting a leak from the right hand side hose in the pic. Makes no sense. Guess Im going to "black rtv" it. Anyone else have any ideas ?

Check the thermostat. I just had this fixed. Looked like the OFHG, on cleaning found that the thermostat was corroded

You still didn't mention if you lubed them before installation.

no lube before install. Clean and dried with a rag. Theres really no way for them to get damaged during the install. Oring slides over inlet/outlet alum tubing and mates up with the bottom of the thermo housing. I can see with a mirror were its seeping out, maybe a couple drops during an hour drive. T

yep, both times. I took it apart last night a ran a fine bead of Black rtv on both sides of the o-ring and reinstalled. I'll take her for a ride or drive her to work tommarrow and see if stopped the leak. Makes no sense. I originally took the whole OFH off when I did my walnut blast and re-sealed everything with new oem gaskets. Its been six months and just started the drip.

yes sir, that was it. I ended up wrapping a white rag around the bottom side and drove around till it "bled" enought oil to give me an idea of where it was leaking from. Popped the cover off, slapped a bead of blk rtv on it and leak solved ! Thanks !
