Oil flow direction from OFH? Tstat delete plate.

Does anyone happen to know which direction oil flows from engine and back into engine given an oil thermostat delete plate? Lines go to an inline thermostat and then the cooler. So which port is out from engine and which port is in to engine? See photo.

I don't really think it matters because it's looping through an oil cooler

Can moderators delete this graphic image on the left as you can easily see the image is wrong, the left by the thermostat is the flow and the return is on the right. You show it reverse and the parts diagram confirms this.

The diagram has the hoses flipped. In real life hose #9 enters the driver side of the housing, not the passenger side as the diagram shows.
