Black side grilles on LBB?

I'm torn on the black side grilles with LBB. Since the wheels are black with a slight bit of chrome, I think the stock ones look decent (going with black front grille of course).

Thoughts here?

Going to reach out to Shankska to see if I can get a better pic (other pick above is from Nic)

I recommend the color matched w/black. Looks great with the mirror and black grill surrounds.

Imo, the only colors that go along well with black side grills are Mineral Grey and Alpine White. Long Beach Blue & Saphirschwarz look better with chrome highlights making the contrast on the sides.

Edit: On another note, if you can find the matched color with black (although I like it better with matched color / chrome on LBB) like jtodd_fl did, it could look really cool.

I am about to order the opposite color combo, gloss black plate with LBB accent. I am hoping it looks good, as I like this look too.

I may be in the minority, but I like my LBB with the stock chrome front and sides.

Do it. In due time, the gloss black, or black chrome accents will be standard. Become an early adopter while you can!

I think the black plate is nice. Now where are you ordering this version from? Cause that sounds yummy.

iND has them in a myriad of combinations, you just have to select what you want in the options in this link: http://ind-distribution.com/ind/bran...ide-marker-set

I also have the LBB backing plate with Black Chrome accent. I love it.

I have thought about what I am going to do also. I think if you go with black grilles you should go all in and do the side vents, exhaust tips and m2 badge. Not sure what I am going to do, I will just wait till I get my car to decide.

There are enough options to make you seriously second guess yourself...

Haha... so true. I ended up finding pictures of many options on other cars... putting them side by side and making the call that way. I was going back and forth between Black on Black, Blue on Blue, and Black on Blue. I am pretty sure it was actually MTHRAR 's car that tipped the scale for me. I like the look a lot. I don't think you can go wrong though. It is a personal touch, so whichever you pick, it is still that! Enjoy.

Would love to see a full side shot of that car. I'm not sure I've seen the MP carbon bits on an LBB car.
