The M235xi has really done well - It took a driver learning curve racing the 1/4 mile:
Things I learned -
Launch Control is constant but not as fast as foot boost launches at 3k rpm
Sport Plus does nothing as far as 1/4 miles times
The fastest times are in sport using the paddle shifters and shifting about 5k rpm
It will heat soak but a good 20 minute rest with a fan on the motor and you are ready to go --also adding a gallon of 101 race gas helps
The car will average between 12.4 and 12.6 at about 106 - and the only mods are a auto 8 tune and a CAI -
