Spec check

Currently have a 335d saloon and on the verge of getting either a 340i Touring or more likely another 335d Touring.

I had looked at various other SUVs but keep coming back to the 3 series as a mixture of decent pace and in Touring size enough space without being too big.

I want to keep a lid on costs to some extent but would appreciate thoughts on the following spec;

Trim designation deletion on side
Exterior mirrors - electrically folding with anti-dazzle
Heated front seats Heated steering wheel Front folding/sliding centre armrest with storage Folding rear seat head rests Speed limit display Metallic - Mineral grey Brushed aluminium trim with black high gloss finish Dakota leather - Oyster/dark Oyster Advanced parking pack - 3 Series Saloon/Touring Extended storage pack - 3 Series Touring Media pack - Professional plus - 3 Series M Sport Plus pack - 3 Series - M Sport with 19" light alloy M Star-spoke style 403M Adaptive M Sports suspension

Am i missing anything obvious?

Thanks

If you're getting speed limit display you may as well add HUD.

Apologies, the format is rubbish in my first post!

Does the camera come with advanced parking pack. If so I have that.

I think the HUD comes with the professional plus pack. If so, I have that as well.

Sounds a lovely spec with great engine which ever route you go. Had you thought about a panoramic sunroof or electric tow bar. Really miss the roof, had it on 2 previous cars but current car was bought AUC. Tow bar would be very handy if you or anyone in the family ride bikes

roof, HUD, ACC, SLD are great IMO.

Wish i'd added the tow bar, but went for rear camera instead as other half sometimes uses it, ahem.

Do you have the Interior Comfort pack? I think you've listed most of the components of it.

Thanks re interior comfort. On checking I've added all components individually and it's cheaper by £100 as a pack!

I did consider the sunroof but not sure other than adding extra light it's worth it to me. Don't miss it on the saloon and I assume the touring is the same interior.

Towbar is a possibility....I'm starting to ride a little more again

I have ACC on the golf and whilst it's good I don't use loads so 50/50 on that one.

What's SLD?

On the touring its a panoramic sunroof which is lovely.

Other than that your spec seems great!

I know....I did think it would lead to spec creep

I will look again at the sunroof. Hadn't realised that it was different to the saloon.

Just need TRL to come back to me .. and decision made. It's going to be a 340i this time.

340i, great choice. Pano roof is around twice the size of the saloon. My e61 was a similar colour combo to your new car and the roof really lightened up the interior. If the figures work for you go for it.
