NY state plates blocks front collision system.... Any suggestions...

Just bought brand new Bmw 750... But the front collision warning screen pops up, saying it's partially not working. So is there any law I can remove front plates.. Thanks

That's going to be a problem for lots of people. It was nearly a problem for me here in California, but I just had the dealer mount the plate higher -- right at lower line of the kidney grille. See photos below. Notice how high my plate is? I ultimately ended up removing the license plate frame, which gave me a few more millimeters to play with.
