What do I code for non break peddle start...

What can I code so I don't have to press the break peddle every time I want to start the car.

I just wanna get in, press the engine start button and have the car start.

Thank you

If you don't press the break peddle what will the poor auto shops fix?

More snark, I coded it out by buying a manual.

I kid. I kid. Cool that you can disable that though.

No, you set that to nitch_aktiv... you are saying disable the start_lock
There might be other TCM_STARTLOCK you might have to play with... there are 4 i think... one for brake, one for clutch, one for diesel and another one...

Also keep in mind you won't be able to put the car in accessory mode as everytime you press the button it will start up

FYI...it's "brake pedal"...looks like spell-checker (or whatever) is gone awry.

I wonder, what's the rational for wanting to do this? I'm genuinely curious as pushing the brake pedal doesn't seem like that big of a burden?

A friend did it to his car and the dealer refused to service the car when he brought it in

I never code it on my cars, but some do so they can add remote start and vehicle pre-conditioning.
