E92 Heated Seats Swap
I currently have a 2009 335i with the cold weather package and a 2007 335i with almost no options. I was wondering if I could swap my heated seats (The entire seat) from the 2009 to the 2007 along with the heated seats buttons. I'm wondering if the 2007 (Car without heated seats) already has the correct connectors under the seat and behind the HVAC control unit for the heated seat buttons. I was also wondering if I needed to get any coding done or if I needed to purchase any fuses.

I don't know about any of the electrical modifications, but you will definitely need the car coded. Heated Seating is an option, not standard equipment. Therefore you will need to add the option to your VO. (Possibly additional coding, I'm not sure)

Do a little search. It is possible but you need to run wires and code the car. You at least have the hard part done of getting heated seats.

Thats what I was worried about. I figured it might be pre-wired for the heated seats like it is for other options like an alarm.
