Cheapest place to buy OEM E92 335i Water Pump/ Thermostat ?!!? Also who is OE for W.P

I want to replace the water pump and thermostat in my 2007 E92 335i. It's still original and its got some miles on it now and i just want to replace it.

I've been seeing different information online.. Who is the OE manufacturer for the Water Pumps?

Is it Siemens VDO? Continental?

Also how about the OE for the Thermostat?

Whats the cheapest place you were able to find everything?

How much did you pay for Water Pump, Water Pump Bolt Kit, and the Thermostat? And from what website?

I already have the coolant and the U-shaped coolant hose that joins the W.P. & Thermo. So im good on that..

Anyway thanks for the help, I appreciate it!!?

I always get my parts from FCPEuro since they have a lifetime warranty and it is hassle free. I've used it I believe 3 times now and they never question anything. They even let me change control arms from the brand I purchased to another since I wasn't happy with the lifespan of them on my last car.

Siemens and Continental are now the same company.
I purchased my pump as a 'kit' (oembimmerparts.com) which included the pump, t-stat and bolts for around $480. Not sure if that's the 'best' price or not, but it seemed competitive.

Conti acquired vdo. Siemens owned vdo earlier. Siemens and conti are still different.

Just ordered an oem bmw VDO Water Pump and Water Pump Bolt kit for $390 shipped from AutoHausaz..

Ordered a ton of parts here already. Great site!

Getting the oem thermostat on Amazon for $50 shipped. Just need to order it today.

So basically $440 including shipping (no taxes) for oem water pump, bolt kit, & thermostat is good for me. I like ordering from that AutoHaus website, they have fast shipping and a lot of free shipping deals. And well amazon is usually always good lol.

For the water pump i ordered.. Link above.. It says to use the water pump bolt kit p/n - ########2553. Which is listed as the 32mm length bolts. Is that a typo? I mean it says it several places and these are a geniune bmw water pump bolt kit. And its the only set listed on the whole site...

So can someone confirm that 26mm length bolts are needed for the new Seimens VDO pump or is the listed 32mm length bolts needed?

I would not sweat it. Look at the WP when it arrives, if it has the rubber isolation mounts you are good to go. If it does not, you'll need to grind down your bolts a bit.

It memory serves me correct, it's only the single top bolt that bottoms out with the newer pump, the 2 bottom ones should be OK.
