Debadging Experience

I've wanted to debadge my 3 series for quite some time now. After browsing the site and a trying work week, which lead to a bottle of Cabernet I was ready. So I grabbed my floss, girlfriend's hairdryer, and a bottle of car polish. At first, I found the floss was pretty weak in integrity so I switched to thread which worked like a charm. My girlfriend comes home to me standing in the garage, piss drunk with a blowdryer on high pointed at my car, a piece of thread wrapped around my neck, and a glass of red wine in the other hand. Must have been a fantastic sight lookin from the outside in. Nevertheless, after I threaded the emblem's off, I found it was much easier to rub the soft spot of a finger over the sticky residue and manually peal it off. This prevents any additional scratches or damage from any goop cleaner. Then a quick clean of the area and polish worked perfect. Considering the flatter and more spacious trunk panel on the new E90
I think ripping the emblem off is definately the way to go. Happy Debadging.

I can Relate. Sounds like a great night. Though i would have gone a little lighter. Perhaps a bottle of Pinot Noir?

Do you think the Perf Ctr Delivery workshop would do it for me? How'd you go about asking? Did you ask your assigned delivery specialist? Did you tip for extra service/favors. Thanks...

I did this on my e46 too, it's VERY easy!

Jet Black, Yes. Got the wheels from a chance on EBaY. I was very happy they worked out perfectly. Freakin love these rims.

did you use the same size tires the m3 uses? 225/40/19 front and 255/35/19 rear?
