Tint

I was pulled over for tint and no front plate today. I told the officer its my dads car trying to get away with it (insured under him)and he told me my father will be issued the ticket. my father was not driving nor was he present in the vehicle. Im just curious to know if a Fix-it ticket will be mailed to my house or not because he just told me "have a nice night" and told me i was good to go after checking my paperwork, but didnt give me a slip or anything.

I was told the same S*....

I was not paying attention to the road and didn't make a stop at a stop sign, who was going to kill me at that moment if they would have been coming fast enough a POLICE.

I have 3 years waiting for it.

I'm guessing no. In FL, NJ, and NY at least they just hand you a ticket on the spot.

If a month goes by and u don't get a ticket in the mail, just call the police department of the town u got the pull over and ask for more info on it.

I'm one of does lucky ones , i got 5% all around and 35% in front.

In that pic there is no tint on the front and I'm not visible, now that i put on the front u will never see me.

I've looked through 50% tint on windshields before, and it was ridiculous. That was during a bright day. Yes I could SEE per say, but vision was still impaired somewhat. At night, I couldn't imagine.....

You also want others to see YOU through the windshield... So when you are ready to pull out in traffic, or across an intersection, the other driver can wave you to go, and also see where YOU are looking.....

That's what they made the horn and flashing lights for...

That something that clearly comes out in the driver manual.

What do u want to see into my car for or where I'm looking at?

There is something called "Due Process" at the point of the infraction you need to be made aware of what you did wrong. If a law enforcement (cop) doesn't do this, then there is nothing that will hold up in court.

Just like red light camera's they are won by saying your "Due Process" rights were violated.

Just got pulled over myself. State trooper told me that the tint ticket is two points. I was very nice and polite to him so I could try and get it down to impeding or a written prescription. Calling my family friend doctor today for it.

I think he was decent due to my honesty and I told him I had my glock on me.

Hopefully you're better off than I was since it seems like you won't be receiving a ticket.

Because I want to know if you see me coming before you pull out into my lane. If I see you looking in my direction, I will feel that you do see me, and your not going to just pull out in front of me. Things they teach you in motorcycle safety classes...

No you're not gonna get a ticket if he didn't issue one in the spot.

Only reason I asked this is beacuse my friend was driving his c63 which is tinted 5 all around and 35 front, he got rolled and he told the officer it was his dads car and that he had just received a tint ticket. the officer was chill about it but 3 days later he got a ticket under his dads name for his tail light tint. My friend wasnt even informed that he was also going to be cited for his taillights
