320si a hidden gem or nightmare?
Just bought myself abother e90 after 2 years of living with an e46 compact.
Owned a 330d mpsort for 2 years and then becuase of a change in life circumstances had to sell up and live with a e46 325ti compact 2 years on and I am back in e90 land. Finally back in the e90 world with a 320si which from what I read is a bit of a rare one so hoping it will hold its value a bit. Has anyone worked on trying to eek the engine upto 200 bhp? Thinking the usual stuff might help it, enclosed induction and a flee flowing exhaust. What made the wtcc models so much more powerful? 280bhp I think... I plan to keep this car a while and appreciate it's rarity, a good mop and a polish and photos will be uploaded. Any suggestions on subtle mods for the car? Darkine rear lights, smoked side repeaters and a set of factory xenons are currently on my wish list with an enclosed air filter next. |

I have had the car for a couple of days now and getting plenty of positive feedback from car geeks (mates) from the carbon engine cover.

Nice car, there's limited possibilities with naturally aspirated engines. I'd focus on getting oils changed improving handling and brake upgrades. The 320si engine is already highly tuned and fragile from all reports. I doubt wtcc engines cover many miles before being renewed.
