14.2 Seconds On The 1/4 Mile

I honestly thought I would get somewhere around the 13 seconds. I have little mods so what can I expect. Also I'm in the mile high area so I'm above sea level. Colorado to be specific.

Mods:
MHD Stage 1 (STOCK CAR)
DCI
BMS Cowl Filters

Still running the stock RFT's? Auto/Man trans? What was your 60ft time? How many miles are on the vehicle? What was the engine temp? Sorry, so many questions but when I ran a 13.4 I expected high 12s so i'm giving you some of my excuses lol.

Surprised those BMS Cowl Filters didn't get you deep into the 9's.

And how did you run 13.4 what place did you race at? Because of the altitude I'm not pushing the same amount of boost as you

What's the 60' and trap speed, some vital information in determining what is going on with that time.

^^^^THIS.....

60' and trap speed tells all..

Your 60' is probably 2.1-2.4 with the manual. Your altitude is also a huge crutch compared to someone running @ or near sea level.

Reaction time has no effect on ET. Don't worry about it.

Your MPH is a little low, even being @ 5000' ASL......

You can get a mid 13s time with that trap, you need to work on the launch. I'm not too familiar with how fast the gas versions should be running with X mods so someone else can chime in there.

Drop that 60' to a 2.0, and you will drop close to 5/10th's off your ET. That would put you at around a 13.75-13.80 ET.

My 60' is just OK, but it helps tremendously. I am self tuned, stock turbo, stock downpipe. Just a BMS CAI. However, I am also @ 100' ASL.

Yea this is my 2nd time on the track so my launch was not the best. I went from a 14.6 to a 14.4 to 14.2. Just need to practice and more mods

Reaction time don't matter. The timer starts when you go

That's 60' is pretty awful for an AWD car. You need to work on your launch...a lot. Launch at a higher RPM and slip the clutch a little more (not a lot more...a LITTLE MORE).

Must be a pretty conservative tune for only trapping 100. Get a little more aggressive on the tune as well will help.
