i think its time for a new bumper

I was at the bank when I was taking a turning (misjudged the turning radius) and hit a curb that I didn't see. My whole front bumper from before has been beat up and I was thinking of getting a new bumper now. I was wondering what options should I be looking for a 08 328xi? And how much would it cost to sell my damaged bumper? Atm I'm looking at either m3 replica or m-tech.

Great car and I really do like the m3 bumper imo. When you got the m3 bumper was it just take off old bumper and put it on? Or did you have to get some other stuff in order to put on?

Also on my bumper I had this piece stolen off. I think the m3 replica doesent come with these pieces on the bumper which is better so I don't have to worry about it but the m-tech does have the pieces on it.

Beat old stock bumper maybe like $40. Not really a market for it unless you get lucky. You could get a lip and/or splitters and it would cover that mess. Have m3 rep and the bottom is beat. Should have got a lip for it, when I had it installed. M-Tech will cost more though but you have more lip options for it.

You need a new bumper cover, not a new bumper.

That's the headlight washer. If you go with a bumper without headlight washers, you'll have to disable the system in your car.

What I'm thinking to do is when I go to my shop to get the new bumper painted maybe I can get the price lowered by giving them my old bumper.

I see. So if I get the m3 replica I have to delete the head light washer? Would that make errors pop up ? And do I need to code out the errors?

Where'd you have yours installed and painted? I'm in Seattle too which is why I'm asking.

Ha same. My front bumper is in such a bad shape I definitely need to find a new one. I have the M-Sport package so I'm thinking of getting an M-Tech bumper, but I'm trying to get one for a good price. ECS was selling them for like $370 plus free shipping, but that didn't last so when I tried to get one, it didn't let me and the next day the price went back up to ~$570 -.-
Then I e-mailed JG Mods asking if I would buy their M-Tech bumper would I have to trim parts of the car like the brake ducts or whatever... Never got a response.
So yeah, I'm in a search of a new bumper but don't know where to get one for a good deal :/

I agree with what the previous members posted. Since the damage isn't that big, splitters would fix the issue very nicely. However, if you do decide on changing your bumper, then I'd suggest going with an M-Tech bumper.

Easy DIY fix. If you hacked the bumper this much, a new one is just going to get wrecked. Practice repairs on the old one first. Not that hard to do a fill and blend on the lower portion.

It's not only this damage, theirs previous damage around the bumper. It's worn out.
