I love it when a plan comes together :)
I washed my car today and it was awesome to see all of the pieces of my regimen come together. Water beads like crazy when I wet the car down (assuming I don't foam it). Water runs right off of the glass. With just a little bit of gel cleaner the brake dust comes right off of the wheels. On my previous cars bugs on the front bumper and hood used to be a pain. Now they come of with a spray from my hose or a simple wipe with the chenille microfiber wash mitt. I'm sure that my neighbors think that I'm nuts and that I spend too much time on my car. Probably because they spend no time on their cars. :/ I love seeing the fruits of my labor though.
Thing is, I could be doing even more. Engine bay. Air dryer. Actually do something to the interior lol. Althought, today I did vacuum and wiped the interior down with Adam's interior cleaner. That stuff is awesome. It leaves zero residue and gets things back to stock oem showroom finish. Happy detailing everyone!

It's addicting, isn't it. Sometimes all you can do is stand back and smile.

Highly recommend using a leaf blower to dry the car. I love the looks I get every time I dry my cars with one. I actually don't think I've ever used my leaf blower to blow leaves.

To me, detailing my car is zen-like therapy. It's relaxing and contemplative. The leaf blower thing is not for me. Too loud, raucous and imprecise. Wax on wax off, grasshopper.

Meditation is repetition. OM, OM ,OM. The process isn't always stimulating , but the results are satisfying.
