2.5 I believe, not sure if the Z4M has larger piping, prob not since its two separate pipes as well split at the x-pipe

Can anyone confirm this diameter?

M is 2.5"

What about 3.0i? 2.25"? or 2.5"?

Sounds suspect to me. I think aftermarket M equipment uses 2.25", so I can't imagine they would be downsizing from stock.

I don't know this for sure at all, I just don't want anyone to read this with the assumption 2.5 is right. Someone please post a fact with a source and not just a guess.

I believe its 2.25". I ordered 2 cats based on this size.

Someone else here on the forum used a Magnaflow muffler and tips to do his own custom catback for a little under $200, and the Magnaflow he used was 2.25" but this was on a 2.5i. However I can't imagine the 2.5i and 3.0i being any different in piping sizes.

M I don't know about.
