New Clutch

I've been reading few post about MHD and I already ordered everything. The problem is I've been reading a few post and they have commented that once they install MHD with the 91+octane and stock IC there car needs a new clutch because it starts slipping. Now my car has a good clutch and I don't know when it was last done. What are the chances of me getting a new clutch when I install MHD. Vs if I would of went with JB4?

Stock clutch starts slipping with just a tune? Hmm. Thought you needed to do quite a bit more to overpower it.

FBO with E85 will overcome the clamping force of stock pressure plate.
Pump gas, not so much.

Yea well with FBO and e85 I would not like to have the same clutch, but I'm talking about people with stock cars and just a flash. That's where I get confused

These cars are not new. I'm sure your clutch was at the end of it's life.

My clutch? Or you mean the people that posted. My clutch feels perfectly fine. Just got worried that I would need a new clutch after installing MHD

Didn't read the post fully.

Just flash mhd and if it slip, it slips. I'm sure it won't unless the clutch is practically done. My stock clutch with 99k miles holds 460awtq. You won't make anywhere near 460wtq on 91 octane.
