Loud Radiator Fan Noise
Hello,
The car i am having issues with is a 2006 330i with about 122k miles on it. The last couple of days on the initial start up the radiator fan gets extremely loud (like a jet engine). I turn the car off immediately and then right back on and it does not happen again. Car runs perfectly normal afterwards (as far as i can tell). Upon further research it looks like it could be the water pump or the thermostat... Is it ok to still drive the car? For 3 days in a row it did this upon initial start up...however this morning I turned the car on and it did not occur- everything ran normal with no issues. I am still worried the water pump or thermo have started to fail- or will in the near future.. just wanted to see if anyone had any insight on the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you. |
