Is This The Right Temperature For My E92
It says 108° and sometimes 109° don't know if this would be considered average now. Also I'm kinda stuck on just the temperature screen and when I turn on my car I can't click the options to check my oil and other options I had when clicking the BC on the side.

How long has your car been running when picture was taken? If you have been driving hard then that is quite cool. (235f). Do you have an oil cooler? What is the max temp the gauge goes up 2?!

It depends on how much power you want and for how long. If you aren't going over 250 degrees and you aren't going into limp mode and you aren't tracking then technically you don't "need" it.

BTW, the oil temperature on your gauge readout is also within the normal range.

You should already have an intercooler, so I would Definetly get an oil cooler. Keeping oil temps down will make your car run a lot better. 👍🏻🌪👍🏻

Since he got his question answered, I have a tangential one. I know how to activate the hidden menus already. I frequently go to the code 7.00 (see OP's picture in 1st post) to read coolant temperature. My car is a 335D so I don't have a gage for oil temp. Here is the question: what hidden menu code shows the oil temperature? thanks

Did you also take a pic of your mileage when it was 123,456? did you time the trip meter to be 789 as well?

I had been having issues and never looked at water temp on the E90 335.
I started logging it when I was checking my voltage regulator and almost threw up a lung. Yep 100C+ for water temp. They are doing everything they can to meet emissions. My VFR800 motorcycle also runs hot like that. Does make one a little nervous. I'm old school and used to seeting water temps at 170-180F as normal. You must run a good coolant mix in this car!
